  • Certified Personal Trainer under the American College of Sports Medicine

  • 1st Degree Tae Kwon Do Black Belt under the Kukkikwon Headquarters in Korea

  • TRX Level 1 Qualified

  • ELEIKO Certified Strength Coach

  • Over 5 years experience as a personal trainer

  • Worked 3 years in a physical therapy setting

My fitness journey began during my Freshman year in high school when I started training in Tae Kwon Do.  After a few competitions and achieving my blackbelt, I started to focus more on weight and cardiovascular training.  What originally started out as a hobby unexpectedly turned into a lifestyle.

When I started college I didn't have a clear career path in mind.  At the time I was pursuing a degree in Economics, which I quickly found out was not for me.  It wasn't until my friend suggested that I pursue personal training that my life took a turn for the better.

 

I earned my degree in Kinesiology in 2014 and became a certified personal trainer shortly after.  I've worked in commercial gyms, physical therapy clinics, and group exercise studios.  I've worked with people of all ages and physical capabilities.  My ability to be an effective, detail-oriented, well-educated, and patient teacher is what sets me apart from other trainers.
